I am a native Brazilian Portuguese teacher with over 10 years of experience in education, teaching children, teenagers and adults. I specialise in supporting students preparing for GCSE and A-Level Portuguese in the UK, helping them develop confidence in speaking, writing, reading and listening, as well as the exam skills needed to achieve their best results. I have also worked directly with UK schools conducting GCSE Portuguese speaking assessments, which has given me a strong understanding of the expectations and format of the examination. I currently teach GCSE and A-Level students and can provide support with exam preparation, speaking practice, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary and literary or film analysis for A-Level. I hold a Master’s degree in History from Universidade Federal Fluminense (Brazil) and have a strong academic and secondary-school teaching background. My lessons are structured but friendly, and I adapt them to each learner’s level, goals and areas of difficulty. Alongside exam preparation, I also teach Brazilian Portuguese to heritage speakers and learners who would like to improve their general fluency and confidence. My aim is to make Portuguese accessible and enjoyable while giving students the structure and personalised support they need to make real progress.
