About Nelly

Bonjour! I'm Nelly, a native French speaker from Nancy (North East of France) with 32 years of experience teaching languages in various secondary and also primary schools in London and Norfolk/Suffolk. I hold a Master’s Degree from Staffordshire University and a PGCE in MFL. I am a passionate linguist and I also offer Spanish and German tuition as I taught both alongside French. Many students don't struggle with languages because they lack ability! They struggle because they're afraid of getting it wrong. My lessons are a calm, very encouraging space where mistakes are part of learning and confidence grows week by week. How I help: • Speaking practice at your pace, so you go from hesitant to fluent • Clear, kind regular feedback that shows exactly what to improve • Exam preparation that reduces nerves and helps you achieve your target grade: role-plays, photo cards, general conversation and timed practice • Grammar explained simply, with no jargon What I teach: • French: beginners, KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, A-level • Spanish: beginners, KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE • German: beginners, KS1, KS2, KS3 One-to-one or small group online lessons, tailored to your exam board, your needs : business, holiday or simply to start learning a language from scratch or building your confidence in speaking. Please contact me if you want a dynamic, supportive and experienced teacher to help you with efficiency and fun on your language journey!
