About Sandra

Bonjour! I’m Sandra, a native French teacher from Metz in north-east France, now based in Scotland. I have 17 years’ experience teaching French to children and teenagers, and I’m passionate about helping young people become confident French speakers. My teen classes are friendly, supportive and interactive, with a strong focus on my 3 Cs: Communication • Conversation • Confidence I help teenagers move beyond simply learning vocabulary and grammar to actually using French with confidence, while supporting and complementing the French they learn at school. And French doesn’t just stay on the screen! We bring the language to life through fun, practical experiences, including online shopping activities and French Bake-Alongs. Pupils based in Scotland can also have the opportunity to join us for our end-of-term shopping experience and French restaurant outings, putting their French into practice in real-life situations. My pupils have achieved excellent results, including A grades at National 5 and Higher French, with 100% of my 2026 exam entrants achieving the top grade. Classes are deliberately kept small so every learner has plenty of opportunities to participate, speak French and receive individual attention. Whether your teenager needs more confidence, extra support alongside school, greater speaking practice or wants to take their French further, my aim is to help them reach the point where they can proudly say: “I CAN speak French!”
